Muse Add-Ons and Variations

Muse is a game written by Jonathan Benn, with much input and discussion from my side. I'm going to use this page to collect additional rules and variations I've created for the game.

An add-on for Muse.

An add-on for Muse.

A major addition to Muse, changing the game significantly. Major Events replace Endings and all related rules.

A version of Muse similar to "Major Events", but designed as less of a competitive game. It is centered around "elements" named by the players, and the design aims to support focused storytelling and coherence in regards to plot. I wrote this for Jonathan Benn as a housewarming gift, and thus tried as much as I could to hit his design goals, albeit with my own approach.

A structured method to create a beginning situation and set of a characters for a story. Written as an add-on for Muse, but it could be used for a variety of purposes, such as for generating ideas for RPG scenarios or brainstorming concepts for creative writing.
